I had something st up this morning before i had to leave for school. Its in a lush valley with some basic tokens around it. Please report back if the place is still there or if it got eradicated in the meantime.

I keep spawning, only to get killed by a butload of AI. No idea where it is that I spawn.

Log in and you might find this still standing. http://twitpic.com/10xbz7 All the AI and power regen and manufacture routines weren't running properly. They were lagging a lot. Meant that pinching tokens was a little easier though. |

Founded a settle last night inside a glacier. the shield and all tokens are underground. I routet the energy to go inside and underground the glacier. Lots of tokens allready there. Also a reactor but that one seems bugged and i couldent configure it. Its intresting i never routet energy underground..lots of fun ![]() There is no energy manu yet i hope someone finds one and sticks to the desired underground layout.. I'll have to drop in later today to have a look at the glacier base.

Sure...the problem was...i carved out a nice cave but due to AI artillery attacks almost all roofs are gone ( or some griefing that happend lately ). The base layout is still there. Reactor and shield are in the cave. But for some odd reason they dident destroy the monolith ( yet ) this must be one of the longer lasting bases since its there since almost 2 weeks now... ![]() Only MAIN flaw...i never found a power manufacturer. Or i had it and fell into water fleeing from relentless AI. I was unable to find it again. But iam happy my little experiement made it that far. I had to look over it everyday trying to eliminate the growing AI bases around it. |

Yeah, that sounds really cool. Lol, in preparation for the launch date, I've been designing my own city. You saying your base is one of the "longer lasting" ones, is a little disconcerting :P . |

Windmill, hope you realise you can't build a settlement by yourself, your design isn't likely to last too long ![]() Although, if you want, we can try to plan a launch day settlement, discuss it all on here first and then get building when the game launches, that way we can build something coherent for newbies to see.

i smell a "organized settle and teamspeak session on launchday" event... ![]() *edit* the glacier settle is gone. cyborg is right when he sais that you dont build settels alone. It was just the quit prelaunch phase that enabled me to have it done on my own. Nothing is forever..not even love.... Last edited by Sad-o-Lon; 03-17-2010 at 04:51 PM. |

I'd love to do that, iamacyborg. And, I do realize that I can't build on my and, and even if I could I wouldn't want to. That's why I've been organizing some friends on Steam to join me on launch date and hopefully have a long-term settlement. Sad-o-Lon: That wasn't the corniest thing I've ever heard xD. So, if we are going to organize this launch-day settlement I need to know some things: What server? Where do we first spawn in-game? Where will the settlement be? etc etc. |
